Eudaimonia

'Aristotle said that the purpose of acquiring "virtue" was to gain "eudaimonia". While that Greek word has often been translated into English as "happiness", it can be more accurately translated as "human flourishing" or "a well-lived life".' (Letter to the Economist, January 2011).

Was so tired yesterday, at the end of a busy week, that I could barely take photos, never mind upload them to my computer! So that's why this is my first back blip. And I haven't managed to take any photos today yet either! This letter caught my eye as we have touched on eudaimonia in our AS Ethics course.
