Images of the Coromandel 21
What you do on a totally drenching wet day in the Coromandel.
Carry on as normal of course!
Boys on bikes in togs, boys in puddles in togs. boys in the sea in togs, boys playing in the sand in togs, mmm NO GIRLS out in the rain.
Togs by the way, the Kiwi term for swimming shorts.
Packing up tonight a day early as there is a heavy rain warning out and flooding expected along the coastal rivers which often leads to road closures. Less stress to travel back without the pressure of the flight to catch at the end of the drive. Plan is to drive over the hill and hopefully through the low lying river area after high tide tomorrow morning. Will be interesting to see what develops. The rain is pelting down relentlessly so very peaceful inside listening to that particularly as it is still about 22 degrees so not cold and threatening at this stage anyway.
