The Lizard of Oz

This slender fellow, made of metal, is a present from our friends M and N. N is our youngest daughter's bff. They have just come from a week in balmy Hawaii to attend a wedding, carting back with them a crate of delicious Maui pineapples.

This newest addition to my sinuous menagerie-- M's hubby R proposes I christen it the Lizard of Oz-- is helping me prop open the pages of a book I am reviewing for class Monday night.
