Yesterday's seashells
Having lived near one beach or another most of my life, one might think I would stop picking up shells, but such is not the case. Each beach walk brings new delights of form and color. I especially like shells with spirals and love the broken ones that allow me to see the progression of formation as the spirals grow. Barnacles intrigue me also - they live in loose colonies, yet each is a separate little being.
