Freak Storm

A freak storm or "squall" passed in a straight, narrow line through Philadelphia, lasting about fifteen minutes. Over one hundred of our largest trees were felled by the wind, my neighborhood looked like an air force had wandered by dropping bombs. Work crews were cutting up the trees for several weeks, but there was no media coverage of this weird event, perhaps because no one was injured or killed.
