Past and Present

This building took me by complete surprise. It's an area I go to frequently yet I've never seen these two elements together, brick and mirror, old and new. I almost jumped out of the taxi when I was driving past. They must have just finished the construction with putting the mirrored windows in or something.

I'll have to take a closer look one day and see if all the rest of the building is inside, I bet it is. I once saw a building made here with the big old tree that was standing there growing through the roof. It was a glass addition to a car dealership that they decided to leave the old tree. Unfortunately, it's gone now.

Well, I just thought it was really neat and wanted to share it.
