Library Wall

Went into the library in the town in which I work today. I haven't been there in a while, but with all the library cuts proposed, I decided to use the service whilst it was still there. I was rather taken with this interior wall - a nice bright feature to edge the ramp between levels. There's a decent padded seat running the length of the other side (although I prefer the dusky pink sofa upstairs!).

I was a little sad to see that the library had become self-service. I assume there are RFID chips in the labels in the books, because you don't need to scan the books, just put your pile of books on a large shelf in the machine. But the system seems to work well, and the desks are still there for enquiries.
