I spy with my little eye

Watery sun

Dropped the kids off at school this morning and the fog had lifted slightly revealing a watery sun and thick frost over the golf course.

The hill that can be seen is the local landmark called Alma and when the snow is deep enough it can't be seen for kids sledging and skiing down it.
It is just possible to see the swollen Gadloch which is extremely high this year due to a collapsed covert and limited drainage. This was the second year that people have been able to curl on a frozen Gadloch.

Had a lovely visit from K this morning so the teapot(s) were brewed, the cakes eaten and the world put to rights! We became so engrossed in our catch up that she was nearly late for the Nursery pick up!! Great to catch up though!

Feeling pretty upbeat now so wonder what mischief I'll get up to this afternoon :)
