Ashkenazy's version of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 is still second to Richter's in my opinion, but his Piano Concerto No. 3 is really close to the version by Horowitz. It might be better. Jess ordered this CD and it came in today.

By the way, it bothers me when people write "Rachmaninov."
