late afternoon

The sky was starting to go pink when I finally left the office.

The well planned afternoon suddenly changed to chaos when I had to pick the little ones up from nursery. They took ages to get dressed and then they all suddenly needed the toilet half-way home so back to the office we went to cater for this need. I was a bit thrown when I got home and my peace and calm had disappeared within minutes. Not a big change from this morning when I started the schoolrun screaming and shouting...not to be recommended because it doesn't achieve anything. nothing really to be precise but when I'm stressed I just revert to shouting. Must do something about that...

They got to bed really well because I had stopped shouting and L awarded me a certificate "well done mummy" for not shouting...
