Today's the day .................... to travel underground

The London Underground can be a bit scary for country bumpkins from the north. Everyone seems to know exactly where they are going and are moving at a fast pace. There's a feeling of controlled panic in the air which is only just below the surface. You feel it wouldn't take much for everyone to start running at full pelt.

But at the same time, you can't help but be very impressed at the smooth running of it all. Tubes glide in and out. As long as you keep your head, you get where you want to ever so quickly. It's all a bit of a miracle really ..........
