Landmark

This was a landmark day, the reason being that His Lordship and I managed to do a grocery shop without any conflict, raised voices or sulkiness on either side.

The fact that we managed this was because we did the shopping the man way.
We had a list, we went straight to the relevant aisles, we tarried not, and we were out of the store in no time at all.

My way of shopping is to browse the aisles and gain inspiration for the week's menus and needs from what is on display.
This drives his Lordship mad and because of this and the fact that as a man he is obviously far more able to pack the bags than I, a mere female who has been doing it for all those years when he was gainfully employed, I have left the shopping to him and avoided conflict.

Doing it this way means that unless I specifically make a list of things I want for the week which I find impossible to do, then we end up with the same comestibles each week but domestic harmony....... of a sort.

The other landmark was my shooting in RAW. However I haven't read up on how to process the images, so I expect I might as well have taken the blip of the pillars on the Royal Academy in the usual file.

I'm going to do my homework tonight.
