Simple Pleasures

I don't know who belongs to this doggie but I wish it me. She's an energetic, gentle, friendly girl who adores children (although I've never seen her eat a whole one!). Since my Bonnie died 6 months ago, I've really missed not only her personality but also her company and the subject of todays Blip reminds me of her. With the huge number of hours I work though, taking on a new dog now wouldn't be a very good idea so it's probably just as well that this woofer has someone.

It always makes me smile, the way dogs find such pleasure in the simplest of things. As you can see, when I disturbed her today, she was totally absorbed in chewing cardboard and when I saw her yesterday she was running around, happy as can be, with an empty yoghurt pot in her mouth (well it wouldn't be in her paws would it?!). When I come back for my next life, I'd like to be a doggie.............or a cat.............or Halle Berry!
