Great Tit

I have been spending a lot of time practising the Sax this week in our conservatory which overlooks the garden and as I am easily distracted I have started to work out where the birds perch before fighting over the feeders.

A lot of my bird shots come out blurred as they tend to tend to grab food and run (or fly) so never stay still long enough to get a photo so today I set up the camera with a remote release and focussed on one of the areas they pause rather than on the food.

I am please with the outcome but Claire my sax teacher may be a little less please with my progress on I've Got Rhythm. Its 3 weeks till the performance though so I have plenty of time, Aarrrghhhhh !

p.s. If you view this large the criss cross patterns on the feathers have come out really clearly.
