Retro Computer?

I've been on the look out for an old typewriter for ages. They have drawn me into charity and junk shops for the last few months, but none of the ones I found seemed to be in any kind of working order.

I won this on eBay this week, and picked it up today. My 6YO was a bit bemused, asking the usual 'did they use these in the olden days?' It does work, but a new ribbon is on order.

I love it!
