Who, wash and why

The thing about buying a new car is that you don't know what all the knobs and buttons do until you need to sort something. Seven o'clock this morning found me wrestling in the pitch dark with a bonnet lever, a non-existent catch to keep the thing from crashing on my head, a flappy windscreen washer lid and a full bottle of liquid sloshing about over my posh coat. Many, many bad words were uttered.

The day improved with some impromptu acting and banter from some young people that had me guffawing loudly and without restraint. All very silly.

My blip world has crumbled and I need inspiration. Today I give you my favourite doctor and a lemon.

Normal service - beaches, flowers, insects and cakes - will be resumed soon, I hope.
