Portrait...

I had a wonderful conversation with a curator of a museum today about art. It was nice to talk Caravaggio, Hockney and Canaletto :) We moved on to talk about photography (I was shooting for the school group I was accompanying) and was hugely encouraged/motivated as this lady advised me on some techniques and told me to get a "life-sized" canvas of "I still see it" done (there could be a place for it I am told).

The picture was one of the activities the children did today looking at faces and portraits. The quote comes courtesy of the Curator who quoted back my favourite painter after I said I didn't consider my photos art!
