From Killiney Hill
Lovely walk with my old buddy, R. Bright, clear afternoon. I parked on the lower road on Killiney Hill (near where R and his family used to live) and we trekked uphill along a slippery muddy, rocky path between gorse. R pointed out how many of the rocks were grooved and rust-stained, possibly from cables for some kind of special train or trolley for the Victorian quarry-workers. He is fascinated by this kind of thing; and might well have ended up as an archeologist in an alternative existence. I was glad I'd started running again (after around a year's hiatus) the day before, so could feel that this was a further contribution to my attempt to reclaim something of my 'shape'.
