The Collector

A while ago I became irritated by the amount of used staples on the floor around my desk. Most of my rubbish is dispatched into the bin with a flourish but staples being small and fiddly usually missed. To combat this I decided I would place them in a small Bakelite bowl and empty this as required. Slowly the staples built up and very soon I couldn't bring myself to empty the bowl.

Should I empty the bowl?
Should I continue collecting the staples?
Should I just move the bin closer?
Should I seek help?
