Watching the Weather

The weather has been crazy out here in California. We've had severe weather warnings for the past two days. A lot of places are without power. The winds last night knocked a lot of trees down, and I hear there's a lot of downed trees on the roads. I think it's supposed to continue for a couple more days. It's a good day to stay home.

The photo is my nephew Brett watching the rain come down in the backyard. There was something I liked about this photo, though I don't know what.

I do like that Brett is actually watching nature in all its flury, while I tend to ignore it and hope it goes away.
