Union Jack

How many times do we see the Union Jack in our every day lives - hardly ever except perhaps at the supermarket on some prepacked food! This Union Jack is in the window above an old junk shop in town and has been there for years. In fact there are two windows, one either side of the red board, sporting the flag. The building may have been a pub long ago and perhaps called The Union Jack?

There was a hard frost this morning in very thick fog. The afternoon brought brilliant sunshine and it was a joy to be outside.
