Walking Crane

Husband is away for a couple of days so decided to go to Swindon Outlets to pass some time today, bought a pair of Skechers 'rocking' trainers and another pair of shoes, 4 mugs and a top, nearly bought 2 tops but one was £10.00 more so when I asked and was told it was because of the colour I said NO thanks. even tho I really liked it

Walking Crane
It was built in 1923 by the Great Western Railway, this crane was so named because it could move around on specially laid rails on the floor. It was capable of lifting heavy components and fittings of up to 4 tons in weight.
Similar 'walking' cranes were used all over the Swindon Railway Works
