Weight Loss Wednesday
I got on the scales last week to find I was the heaviest I had been for several years. This is because of a mix of things but mainly sitting on my bum and not doing enough. I've been on the large side since I got married many many years ago (I blame my husband but at the time it was probably due to an undiagnosed underactive thyroid). I don't mind being bigger, but lately various joints seem to object to the extra weight they re carrying around. So it's time to do something. I've already lost about 7 pounds in the last 10 days. I don't expect this rate of loss to continue although it would be nice.
I'll be putting up the scale picture once a week - good or bad. Not for support, but as a motivational tool. As my blips go straight to facebook this has double the effect.
So here goes - be nice - don't actually mention the current weight please, I know it's high. I'm being quite brave for me here.
