Sun-dried tomato pesto

I made tomato pesto for the first time today (I only made my very first pesto - basil- about a week ago) and I figured after I had made it, that I might practise some food photography.

I took many, many shots and came out with only a few I liked, but this one caught my attention. I find it quite an abstract composition for food, but loaded with detail.

What do you think?

Oh, and it tastes soooo yum :D
