Don't Use Electric Tools in the Rain!

When I looked out of the bedroom window this morning, I wondered why there was a tent in our backyard. Actually, it was just a canopy to keep the rain off the miter saw that Chris was using to cut stiles for our new deck stairs.

I felt sorry for Chris -- it rained all day. He said he wished he had a portable canopy to cover him while he was not sawing. He was very appreciative of a hot cup of coffee after lunch.

The stairs will be finished on Wednesday morning and the building inspector is scheduled to come in the afternoon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
