The Most Beautiful Day of the Year (thus far)

It really was gorgeous today, i should have got out a bit quicker after uni but i didn't. I could tell you the details of my fairly normal day but instead i'll tell you what happened a year ago today as it was far more interesting.

At 4.30am a year ago today i sat on the plane and watched the gloriously bright sun rise over Africa. A few hours later a year ago today i looked down at Nairobi and felt more terrified than perhaps ever in my life, i made it through customs though and found David and had my first drive through Nairobi, my first view of Kenya. A year ago today i met Debora, and Carmen, Adrian, Phil. A year ago today Joe came and found me as i sat on the porch eating leftovers heated up for me by Doris and soaking in the beautiful warmth and sunshine and birdsong... A year ago today. Oh how time flies.
