Apple Avenged

I was so excited to take my second photo today, but I didn't know what to take a picture of :O
Then I found this half apple on a plate and with a knife next to it.
*stab*
I found my picture :D (I really hope my mother doesn't mind)
I think one of my goals now is to write a poem for every one of my photos (not including my first one), so...here goes :P

Apple Avenged

Nobody knows why
The apple had to die
All that was left
Was a knife in a cleft
It sat there on a plate
Clearly having met its fate
This incident was curious to me
So I pilfered the moment for you to see
