Equine

Day 128

The stone horse outside the Dick Vet Eqine hospital once sat high on top of the veterinary school in Clyde Street (1833-1916). It was then carefully moved to the Summerhall site in 1916 to sit on the MacCallum archway outside the old large animal clinic, and then moved again in 1971 from the arch to the roof of
the small animal clinic at Summerhall.

You don't often see statues of horses, just being horses. Usually somebody is sitting astride in and digging their heels in.

The sequalae to Bovine

We've just started our equine course, rather enjoying it.
