Public transportation

Last evening decided to have a try with the public transportation from our new home to the my working place. Checked the bus schedules and not so many to choose from - one line starting 5.55 AM, next one going longer route and starting 6.40 AM and then next one again 6.50 AM.

Well woke up early and went for the last one and found myself waiting the bus near the highway with two teenagers waiting their ride to high school. Felt myself old. Well after 40 mins were in Tuira, where needed to change the bus to one city line going to the tech park. Waited a while and after 15mins of more bus was few hundred meters from the office.

The whole trip from home to work took 1h 25mins by bus. By car you can get to 35mins and have planned to start commuting the trip by a bike in the spring and target time will be under 1h 30mins at the beginning. Public and cheap, yes. Wise, perhaps not.
