Good To Know

A little snowstorm overnight and this morning gifted us with a few more inches of snow, and on my way downtown today, everyone was shoveling out.

As I was leaving the art museum, this sign greeted me. At the rear of photo is the Rosa Parks Ice Rink where the ice chess match took place. The sculptors also carved a miniature set for kids and it's placed next to the museum.

More snow showers are predicted for every day this week. Temperatures will range from 5 to 20 F. At least I can go downtown and play ice chess if I'd like to. There's no chance of the pieces melting any time soon :)
