Just the Moon

Just the Moon tonight.

I have been indoors at the same desk all day today with barely a view of the outside.

Meeting after meeting was held and no opportunities for fun or photos was had. I was driving home thinking how dark everything looked and wondered where the near full moon was that I had seen first thing this morning. It was behind me and also behind some crappy clouds.

As I parked the car at the house I noticed the cloud was thinning and a slightly hazy but visible shot was available to me.

I am too tired to do anything other than eat dinner and sit down so I took the shot to test the zoom lens on the new camera.

The shot above was taken at slightly more than the full optical zoom with some digital zooming involved. There was more zoom available but there was no need.

I am happy with the general result although I have to admit it is a lazy option.
