The Journey From Hell

10am (3/1) was called by FirstScotrail: couldn't catch the sleeper from Crewe - had to go to Euston

6pm (3/1) caught train to Euston

9.15pm (3/1) boarded sleeper at Euston

7.15am (4/1) was woken by guard who declared there'd been an accident and we all had to get dressed quickly as we had to get off sleeper at Gleneagles

9.15am (4/1) board bus

11.45am (4/1) bus arrives at Inverness

12.45pm (4/1) leave Inverness for the three hour drive home

3.45pm (4/1) arrive home

wouldn't it have been quicker to get to Australia or somewhere ........
