Boat Anchor

Otari MX-5050 reel-to-reel tape machine. This was the standard in thousands of radio station production rooms and that which I "cut my teeth" on radio commercial production.
With the advent of computer software for editing audio, these slowly became obsolete, hence "boat anchor". It's now situated in my studio as a reminder of the early days of my career.
