B's memorial service is next Saturday afternoon in Maine. Her sister, niece and her husband are flying in on Thursday, they will take the train to Maine. They will come back here with us after the service, recoup and fly back to the Rockies on Monday. I spoke with B's mother who will be 100 next month. She's heartbroken, but so stoic and filled with such faith. Sad days,burying a child as one approaches 100.

I was planning to be at a blip meet up with Joe next Saturday if you can believe it! Imagine, being able to thank him in person for this amazing daily photo journal, but it's not to be. He's in Cambridge at MIT for a week and had a free Saturday.

Snow sleet and ice upon the frozen snowdrifts today, nasty, pure and simple, terrible weather for the soul, spirit, and driving.
