New books

Saw a couple of films over the weekend:

- Pirates of the Caribbean: The curse of the Black Pearl where I'm a teeny bit behind the curve not having seen it (since it was released in 2003).

- Chalet Girl which hasn't been released yet (ha!). This was somewhere between lame and lovely - a story about a chav who gets a job at a ski resort. I enjoyed it, and the scenery of the alps was gorgeous.

Am gradually feeling better from my annual winter cold/flu thing.

Went swimming (slowly!) on Sunday and Monday after at least a month off.

These are all of the lovely books I have acquired over the festive season and will get started reading soon. Since I've been ill I've only been able to face re-reading Maeve Binchy.
