GROTTY

Still in this wretched cast, still a full week to go before (hopefully) it comes off. Can't wait - and neither can my foot, by the looks of it. It's bizarre - I know the stats about household dust being about 90% human skin, but until I saw the state of my foot I hadn't really believed it. I guess this grotty stuff normally comes off in the normal course of things; and gets washed away in the washing machine or down the plughole, or rubs off in bed. But with a cast on it can't escape, so builds up until the inevitable dust cloud when your cast comes off. I'll spare you that blip.....
