a place for everything

Moving to another city (225 miles away from your original location) will test all your strength and patience and bend and twist your relationship to places and positions you could not imagine.
But we did it.
We made it.
We're here, and things are starting to settle down.
(Sigh)

I started my new job on Jan 2nd. So far so good, things are working out. Everyone is wonderful and kind here. And I am under the impression that everyone will trust you until you give them a reason not to. Interesting. To live in a city where there is an actual trial before a hanging.
It's pretty wonderful, actually.

We went out last night and hung out with the locals. Saw some live music and sipped some great coffee. It rained all night.
But driving home, felt like driving home.
I slept really well last night.
I think we both did.
