Plans are easy, but.....

Sun came out, had a gentle stroll, and came back with a plan - how about 10 days or so cycle touring around the Western isles?
Looked at the map, easy.
Looked at Caley MacB ferries, easy.
Tried to get a train with seats facing forward and bike space - no chance - they are trying to tell me they are all booked up already. B*ll*cks. It's just a way of making us buy an expensive return ticket whilst claiming to carry bikes for free.
Renationalise them now - British Rail was never as bad as this lot.
Probably means we will end up driving which rather takes the p*** out of environmentally friendly transport and we can leave the bikes behind.
