The Thinker

This is Hangil. He's a cool cat. Last year, his quartet asked me to replace their violist, who had to leave them after district solo & ensemble because of baseball. It was me and three freshmen. It turned out to be really fun, though, and now I'm tight with all of them.

As I think about this, I recall my freshman year, when I hardly knew any of the upperclassment. I guess that's why I'm so happy to be able to relate to my younger peeps, give them an older friend to show them the way, to make them feel more welcome in our big school of 2,000.

We had dress rehersal for our concert tomorrow. Then we go to Grand Rapids on Friday! Fun stuff haha.
