picnicked in the park!

Finally made it back to this park after falling in love with it in December. The temperature was in the high 70s all weekend, and I couldnt let such amazing weather go to waste. We brought our own sandwiches and ate, napped, and read under the sun. Perfect Sunday afternoon.

I am playing around with the thought of having a BBQ here with friends for my birthday at the end of February. San Diego is one of the few places you can actually risk planning outdoor activities in February and have a fairly good chance of the weather cooperating. If the weather is anything like it was today, it should be a fabulous time.

The sun was starting to go down and I liked how it backlit this tree. All those new leaves sure got their fill of sunshine over the weekend!
