Chores

Even on a 3 day weekend with Monday off all my chores still happen on Sunday...a good cleaning of the house, errands, and of course laundry. My husband had a little too much fun on Saturday night so he was moving very slow all day. In fact, so slow I am pretty sure he never made it to take a shower. As I bustled around all day with my work I think he felt increasingly more guilty. By the end of the evening, after enjoying some spaghetti, he proclaimed tomorrow (Monday) to be all about ME - do whatever I want and he was going to just hang out with me all day. We joked about whether that was truly repayment for his very lazy day...but I'll always take a day with a sidekick and so we looked forward to our bonding day...Monday
