First of all...I'm actually very happy....don't let the miserable face fool you !

This was taken using a 2X teleconverter that I picked up last night and used with a 300m lens.

I got it because I love what telephoto does to depth of field, especially in respect of backgrounds - the way they blur into a "wash" of creams/greens/browns.

I also fancy a stab at wildlife photography but I don't want to invest in a ££HUGE££ lens straight away.

I actually got a picture of a doe today, but only of it's backside as it disappeared........

.....it was a deers-arse-ster !!
