Timeless?

Well, the technology might have changed, but a pretty typical sight. This is at the back of my office, with Banepa being on the left behind the bus yard. The factory to the right is where they make noodles, which seem to be the chief staple and cheap diet here outside of daal bhaat.

To the right in the background you can just about make out the terracing on the hills for (predominantly) rice cultivation.

And the birds hanging around the plough hoping for something tasty to be unearthed...cattle egrets
