Rock Circles

Took my kids to the Natural History Museum today. Amy has been many times before and loves it and James is doing a project on dinosaurs at school, so was very excited about the trip.

Had many great photos of dinosaurs but my favourite photo of the day is my blip today. It's of rock circles which are "minerals crystallizing in spherical form, from molten magma". That's the science, which between you and me I'm not that interested in!

The beauty of the pattern however, is exactly what caught my eye.... it's like a textile design in it's own right!
