Here today

Gone tomorrow!

Tomorrow 30 tons of earth will be dug out from our current patio and back garden to start the house extension. At long last! We took a series of photos today prior to all the work starting.

I'm very excited about getting all the work done, but not looking forward to living on a building site for the next 9-12 weeks. I'm sure Kerr will love seeing all the builders and diggers though - I might just park his little chair at the dining room window now so he has a ring side seat of all the action!

No doubt a few housey blips will feature in the coming weeks so we can chart the progress of the work. I might even try to blip a builder's bum ;-)
