The Shire has burst its banks

The Shire has flooded from last night's rain and probably from final thawing of the Ochils. The River Devon has burst its banks and is spread across as many fields as it likes.

There was much chatter between dog walkers on the railway line...'I've never seen it as bad at this'. I love it how the weather inspires more conversation than usual.

I've had a lovely relaxing day. I'm making my first ever steak pie and it smells braw. Hope it tastes how it smells!
