Green

We survived the flooding yesterday. It only came as far as the opening to our drive so all is well.

It was strange to open the curtains this morning to so much green. The rain of yesterday had washed away almost all of the snow and after about seven weeks of everything being covered in a blanket of white there seemed to be so much colour. I went for a walk in the forest and a number of tree branches had broken because of the weight of snow on them. (Might take pictures of some later in the week) The waterfall was thundering down into the burn which was travelling at great speed.
