Sticking our necks out

The kids are off to get their hair cut, then we're planning to take them to the zoo if the weather's OK.

Hmm, maybe not. I've got a feeling this is the last we'll see of the sun today.

EDIT :

We did get to the zoo after all. On the whole, the penguins were the only residents who seemed to be out enjoying the weather - so the boys got more out of making snowballs than seeing the animals. In fact, their favourite three creatures seemed to be:

3) A magpie
2) A robin
1) A grey squirrel (and he/she wasn't even in the zoo).

Oh, and they really enjoyed watching one of the zookeepers trying to flush away a tenacious bit of Capybara poo.
