The Burrow

Megan and I have been Harry Potter fans for quite sometime now, but over the last few months Jordan has been loving reading the books at night and then seeing the movie once a book is finished. Brooke has even gotten into listening to the stories at bedtime even if she doesn't understand everything that's happening.

Jordan and I have been talking about getting some of the Harry Potter Lego sets to build as a family project and yesterday was the perfect day to go. Jordan and I went to the doctor and got our flu shots, and Jordan did a good job at being brave about it. Megan was out with some co-workers, so I took the girls to the mall for a trip to the Lego store followed by Red Robin.

We thought Brooke might like some Legos of her own, but she was as excited about the Harry Potter sets as the rest of us! Tonight we started building The Burrow (which for you non-Harry Potter fans is the Weasley's house) and so far it is really cool! Brooke was in charge of the people (as she is in our daily lives) while Meg, Jordan, and I worked on the house. Unfortunately we didn't get it done before bedtime, so we'll finish it off tomorrow.
