Sepia Sunday

Very grey moody day here.

Decided to kick some zip into our day and had a coffee out......well in the car, in our thermo mugs, and, I made mine a mocca flat white!!!!!

Drove up to the close-by John Wilson Ocean Drive and enjoyed the passing vista and sea views from the car. I decided a play with the trusty Ixus was in order and took images of view seen in rear vision and wing mirrors (idea for a series there), then a couple of shots of ever present seagulls being seagulls and then of course as the eyes adjusted began to see the subtleties in the grey tones and did a couple of seascapes.

Back to the PC and most of afternoon spent playing with Photoshop and trying to turn boring image into an acceptable sepia image. Not happy with results so browsed through the Camera User Guide book and found I could turn an image sepia at the push of a couple of buttons and still have the original too !!!!

Miraculous digital..........and a new skill learnt.

Grey moody has become sepia awake.....:-)
